August Magdale Volunteers

It really is fantastic to have the support of our own volunteers and our partners - thank you

It’s been a very warm day but that hasn’t stopped our fabulous Magdale Land Volunteers who were out in force this morning, doing another great job.
We made further progress on clearing undergrowth etc from the goit from the Mag to the Dam. And another group continued the clearance of undergrowth in Southgate Woods to create paths and areas for planting small trees in the Spring.
A big thank you to Dave Benson who cut and removed the grass/hay mid August. And to River Holme Connections volunteers who raked off the remaining hay and sowed wildflower seed, most obtained from a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
