A great turnout from half a dozen volunteers yesterday to work on Magdale in such warm weather.

We weeded and mulched around the orchard trees and placed weed suppressing mats around them. The areas surrounding the trees were mowed.

Two further benches were refurbished so that’s all of them done this year.

A leaning tree endangering a stone wall along Spider Alley was felled, seed heads of dock plants removed to halt their spread and a sluice gate unblocked.

Really pleased with what we achieved.
